Frequently asked questions about headstones
How much does a headstone cost?
The price depends on the type of grave, the material, the size and the inscription. You receive a binding quote free of charge after the consultation.
When can the headstone be installed?
After a burial, the ground first has to settle. Depending on the cemetery, we usually recommend waiting about six months to a year. For urn graves it is often possible sooner.
Do I need a permit for the headstone?
Yes, at almost all cemeteries a memorial has to be approved before it is installed.
Which headstone is easiest to look after?
Polished granite: very robust, weather-resistant and easy to clean.
